Last updated: April 30, 2026. This policy explains what we collect when you use EscapeRoom.team to browse, purchase, host, or join online escape rooms.
Information we collect
We collect account details such as your email address and name when you sign in, purchase details needed to fulfill paid access, and gameplay/room data such as scenario progress, room codes, puzzle state, and completion records.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on EscapeRoom.team servers.
How we use information
We use this information to authenticate users, create rooms, preserve game progress, grant purchased access, send purchase or support messages, prevent abuse, improve scenarios, and understand the purchase funnel.
Analytics and service providers
We may use analytics and infrastructure providers, including Vercel, Supabase, Stripe, and product analytics tools, to run the site, process purchases, diagnose issues, and improve the experience.
Room and gameplay data
Hosts and players share room activity inside a room session. Do not enter sensitive personal information into room chat, nicknames, or puzzle notes. We may retain room records for support, anti-abuse, and product improvement.
Your choices
You can contact us to request help with account, purchase, or data questions. Some records may need to be retained for payment, security, or legal reasons.
